The principle of treating diseases by Qigong

The principle of treating diseases with Qigong

Why can qigong heal "incurable diseases", chronic diseases, and a variety of strange and complicated diseases that leave western medicinal doctors at a loss?

Some examples are: after getting qigong treatments a paralized patient can discard their wheelchair and walk independently; a rheumatism patient is completly relieved from the pain that they suffered for many years; the tumor on a patients body shrinks or even completely vanishes. After practicing qigong, a patient with a serious cardiovascular disease is rehabilitated.

The miracles of treating illness with qigong are now indisputable facts. The total efficiency of qigong treatment is more than 90%. It is absolutely not a coincidence that it has such a high level of efficacy. It is worth pointing out that most of those patients had long periods of treatments from famous doctors in big hospitals and many of them had been told that there was no cure for their "terminal illness" according to the world of authority.

Let us review some of the important theories of traditional Chinese medicine and then I can give a scientific explanation of qigong treatments.

A. Theory of Yin and YangTraditional Chinese medicine uses the theories of Yin (feminine) and Yang (masculine) as core principles. Any matter of object can be categorized into yin or yang. For example, day belongs to yang, night belongs to yin, fire belongs to yang, water belongs to yin, happiness belongs to yang, sadness belongs to Yin.

All of us know that a human being is composed of the human body and the soul. According to yin and yang theory, the human body belongs to yang and the soul/spirit belongs to yin. Diseases can also be categorized into yin or yang diseases. From a clinical categorization: any disease that comes from a bodily injury, pathological change to the organ, acute infection from a virus and other maladies are catorized as yang diseases, for example a broken leg, a gastric ulcer, the flu and so on. Any disease that is caused by emotional issues such as sadness, anger, fright and other excessive emotions, or any illness relating to a soul or spirit that is damaged or disturbed belongs to yin diseases such as depression, senile dementia, cancer and so on.

Traditional Chinese medicine has provided us the theory that emotions directly related to certain organs. Anger relates to the liver, happiness the heart, worry to the spleen, sadness to the lungs and kidneys with fear. It is easy to find out the physiological changes when people get angry such as shortness of breath, accelerated heartbeat, increased blood flow and red face, at this time most of the blood is pumped to the head in order to support the strong cerebral movements. Meanwhile, the arterial and venous return are imbalanced in the liver because of the exports and emotional changes, the angry energy silts up inside the liver and turns into qi stagnation.

According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, qi stagnation causes blood stagnation at this point. At this level the little amount of blood stagnation or qi stagnation does not constitute a health threat. But if a person has the same kind of negative emotion for a long time, then they will increase the qi/blood stagnation in this organ and block the nutrient supply which will cause the organ to become diseased.

Yang diseases are easier to diagnose by western medical equipment, and western medical doctors have an easier time finding the cure for these ailments.

Unfortunatly more than 70% of human diseases belong to the catagory of yin diseases. The causes of these diseases are very complex and some are caused by a combination of different factors. It is difficult to find a clear, single cause of the disease by using modern technology.

For example kidney deficiency, lung deficiency, and stagnation of the liver, spleen wetlands, and other imbalances that are recognized by the traditional Chinese medical system can not be diagnosed by modern medical equipment or chemical examination.

Lots of patients come to me saying "I am in poor physical condition", they dont feel good and they have tried to find out what is wrong from doctors but they can not find out why they are sick, the name of the disease or what caused it. Therefore you need to correctly understand the pathogenesis of a disease to find the cure for the disease.

Every disease or symptom has two sides, yin and yang. The yang side is the symptoms that can be seen by the eyes, diagnosed by equipment, or that can be felt by the patient himself. The yin side is the source or root of the problem, it originates in an organ but you may not relate it with the symptom.

I had a patient whose skin on his whole body was cracking and bleeding frequently, but no doctor could tell him what caused this strange disease before he came to me. According to the theory of Chinese medicine, skin relates to the Lungs, and Spleen controls blood flow. So the yang symptom was the cracking and bleeding skin, and the yin side cause or root of this disease was the Lung and Spleen.

B. The relationship between qi and blood.

According to theory of traditional Chinese medicine, qi flow leads blood flow, therfore blocked qi may cause blood stagnation. Qi and blood are from the same root that life energy is from. So sufficient qi will cause prosperous blood, and also prosperous blood can cause sufficient qi.

There are many kinds of bad energy within the universe and the human body; we call the bad energy Xie Qi. And any kind of disease that is caused by the stasis from qi and blood. The xie qi can block the circulation and cause the stasis of zhen qi (good energy). So therefore, we can also say that xie qi cause any kind of disease. Bad emotions can cause xie qi to gather in the human body, Xie qi can also intrude into the human body and cause disease when a persons good energy is weak.

C. Can qigong practitioner doctor really release the qi from his or her body to heal a patient?

First, we need to know how a qigong practitioner gets qi into their body. A practitioner refines an essential material that is already found in the body into qi by a special technique. Then by growing and moving the qi in the body, the practitioner can feel its existence and also can see their meridians that are full of colorful energy when a practitioner becomes extremely calm and the third eye is opened. The practitioner can also get the qi from the universe, the Sun, the moon, water and the trees through some acupoints on the body. Since the practitioner can take qi in from outside of the body, he can also release the qi through some acupoints on the body to the patient.

Now I can talk about how the qigong practitioner can use the qi for treating. We learned before that qi stagnation or blood stagnation may be the cause of any disease. Therefore, the practitioner releases his or her strong qi to open the stasis or stagnation that stays in the patients meridians or organs where the root of the disease is to make the energy and blood in that area run normally. Then the disease will be cured after the stasis or stagnation disappears.

There are many different methods for a practitioner to perform the qigong treatment:

Touch style: the practitioner uses his or her hand (palm or finger) touching certain areas of the patients body, then releases qi through that area to open where the qi has stagnated to heal the disease.

Non-touch style: the practitioner sends the qi to the patient area of disease to perform the treatment without any physically touch, even from long distances away. This high level of qigong treatment does not use qi but shen (spiritual power) which is refined from qi.

About my qigong therapy:I provide qigong therapy for patients who suffer from chronic diseases such as: rheumatoid and osteo arthritis, joint and muscle pain, neck and back pain, sciatica, slipped disc, muscle atrophy, impotence, multiple sclerosis, insomnia, migraine headaches, rhinitis, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, neurasthenia, fibromyalgia, cellulite and other infirmities. Although my therapy belongs to Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is unique and has been handed down through my family from generation to generation, and although it is not a well-known therapy, it is capable of healing the diseases that were mentioned above.

My therapy combines the use of Qi-Gong and a tincture made from twenty-five rare and expensive chinese herbs that I apply directly to the affected area. In some circumstances I only use qigong depending on the problem. It is simple and yet, highly effective.

Benefits:

Most patients require only five to eight treatments to be healed although some may require several more depending on the severity of their condition. My therapy is very safe and does not involve taking medications or using acupuncture needles. There is no side effects or symptoms.
